Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Manager Program Quality Lead to join our team at RTX. This role will be responsible for leading our program's proactive quality risk mitigation efforts, partnering with Program Leadership, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Operations, and the Quality team.

The successful candidate will have experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action, and interpreting technical drawings/data packages. They will also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead proactive quality risk mitigation efforts across our factories and suppliers
  • Implement quality processes to reduce overall product lifecycle cost and risk
  • Improve customer deliverable products/critical processes/systems
  • Manage customer relationships

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)/AS9145: utilizing resources such as Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Key Characteristics, Design Failure Modes, and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and/or Control Plans
  • Experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings/data packages
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification and/or Program Management Certification
  • Experience with Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) or another Continuous Improvement Program
  • Passionate, high-energy, self-starting team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement
