Position Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for the integration and testing of robotic palletizing systems at our facility. You will lead customer-facing acceptance tests and provide technical support during system startup and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Integration and Testing: Execute system integration, testing, and troubleshooting, including software downloads and robot setup. Ensure the mechanical, electrical, and system logic functions correctly while working with live power.
- Customer Engagement: Represent the company during factory acceptance tests and customer demonstrations. Assist in setting up and integrating customer training sessions.
- Travel Requirements: This position involves approximately 30% travel, which may include both domestic and international locations.
- Installation Verification: Confirm proper installation of electrical and mechanical systems at customer sites.
- System Functionality Verification: Conduct proof testing of system devices and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Commissioning: Finalize the commissioning of robotic systems and monitor production processes.
- Training: Provide training to customers on system operation and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of travel arrangements, project status, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Vocational or technical training is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in factory automation or related fields.
