Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Project Manager will be responsible for expediting projects, managing logistics, overseeing inspections, and ensuring efficient project management on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly handle customer inquiries and follow up with direct communication
  • Work closely with customers to understand business needs and recommend continual improvement and innovation plans to maintain and grow sales
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers to provide engineering support and guide customers to best product solutions
  • Provide technical support to customers based on product understanding
  • Manage projects by executing and following company workflow
  • Prepare pricing proposals, present quotations, and negotiate order details with customers
  • Interface with customers, factories, and Design Engineers on production and prototype orders
  • Work closely with the Engineering Department to determine how products and services can be designed or modified to best suit customer needs
  • Obtain and update technology roadmaps, development, and production schedules from customers
  • Work with the manager to develop and execute strategic plans
  • Coordinate and travel with customers to Asia, mainly to production facilities in China
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Expeditor and expediting skills
  • Project Management expertise
  • Inspection proficiency
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in the electronic manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus
