Job Summary

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Payroll Analyst to join our team in the Columbus, OH area. This role offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

The successful candidate will support management in the performance of corporate payroll/tax responsibilities, including the preparation of Federal, State, and Local tax returns and reporting for various companies. Key responsibilities include:

Preparing, overseeing, and ensuring timely and accurate preparation and filing of Federal 941/941-X, Federal 940, state unemployment, state, and local tax forms in compliance with federal, state, and local governments.
Auditing and balancing Payroll Reports to ensure accurate employee tax withholding and W-2 Reporting.
Researching tax inquiries and coordinating audit responses for management, subsidiaries, employees, IRS, state, and local tax authorities.
Preparing and submitting W-2, W-2c, Canadian T-4 forms, as well as auditing miscellaneous reports to ensure accurate and timely filing.

The ideal candidate will possess a BA or BS degree in Business or Accounting, with three years of tax or accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. Proficiency in complex accounting and payroll functions, as well as intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, and other word processing software, is required. Additionally, the candidate should have detailed knowledge of general accounting principles and advanced skills utilizing payroll/accounting software applications. Above-average customer service skills, oral and written communication, and organizational skills are also essential.
