Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to support our team in delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a key resource for payroll-related queries, you will be responsible for reviewing timesheets, calculating payrolls, and processing them to completion.

Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent time management skills. With a strong background in payroll processing, you will be able to effectively manage the day-to-day tasks required to support our commitment to improving lives through innovation in research, education, and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure payrolls are calculated, reviewed, and processed on a timely basis.
  • Follow a set schedule for each client's payroll calendar.
  • Create system-based and custom reports for external partners.
  • Research and follow up on payroll-related questions to resolve problems.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • One to two years of experience in payroll tax administration or payroll field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with payroll software such as ADP Workforce, Paycor, Paychex, Prism, or a similar platform.
  • Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • A desire to make a positive impact on our external business partners.
