Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional support to carriers and drivers in a contact center setting by researching issues, problem-solving, and managing expectations within the Aston Carter Transportation network.
  • Work efficiently in a dynamic environment, adhering to schedules including start/stop times and breaks.
  • Identify potential disruptions in the logistics system regarding the pickup, transport, or delivery of customer loads.
  • Conduct outbound communications to understand and resolve identified issues within the Aston Carter systems.
  • Assist with workload surges and weather-related operations, including the possibility of significant overtime during peak periods.
  • Utilize internal systems to compile data from various sources for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and effectively communicate insights across the organization.
  • Support field teams with driver assignments, load acceptance, and equipment availability.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in logistics, customer service, and transportation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Background in a call center environment (inbound or outbound).
  • Ability to maintain focus on details to achieve resolutions.
  • Tech-savvy with at least one year of experience using computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over one year of experience in a call center setting.
  • Experience in collections, insurance, claims, or investigations.
  • Adept at real-time problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
