Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:
As a Radiologic Technologist at Barrow Brain & Spine, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and accompany patients to dressing and exam rooms, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring experience.
• Set up and maintain patient dressing and procedure rooms, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures under the supervision of a radiologist, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques.
• Maintain procedure rooms, including ordering and stocking supplies, to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Ensure rapid and efficient turnover of procedure rooms, minimizing delays and maximizing patient throughput.
• Maintain film badges and ensure radiation safety procedures are followed according to ALARA principles.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an accredited radiology technologist professional program.
• ARRT (RT) and MRTBE licensure.
• 1 year of experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, obtained before employment or within 30 days of employment.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a clinical and procedural setting with contact with patients, patient families, office staff, physicians, etc. while utilizing Universal Precautions. Moderate noise, possible fumes, odors, exposure to radiation, and exposure to blood/body fluid/tissue are potential hazards. Overtime as required.
