We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Cardiac Intermediate Care at Methodist Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse in Cardiac Intermediate Care will be responsible for coordinating and delivering patient-centered care to patients with complex medical conditions. This will involve assessing patient condition, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with medical providers to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with medical providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a current RN license and a degree in nursing. You should also have experience working in a cardiac care setting and be proficient in electronic medical records.
