Cardiac Progressive Care Registered Nurse Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Progressive Care Unit at Methodist Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly specialized cardiac population, providing high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role

The Cardiac Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with medical providers to provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
  • Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team
  • Have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing
Requirements

Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program. Our Cardiac Progressive Care Unit is a 35-bed cardiovascular stepdown unit, specializing in advanced heart failure, heart transplants, and specialized cardiac surgeries such as TAVRs and LVAD patients.
