Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team at Synectics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining process automation systems that support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement process automation systems, including hardware and software components, to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to other team members, including construction personnel, to ensure successful installation and startup of automation systems.
  • Review and audit automation systems design and procurement by external firms to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize automation system performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process automation, with a focus on DeltaV systems.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with large-scale distributed control systems, Foundation Fieldbus networks, and DeviceNet segments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with construction personnel, engineers, and other stakeholders.
