Job Title: Regional Sales Account Manager

SnellingProSearch is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales of custom engineered material handling solutions to manage accounts throughout a nationwide territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize consultative and strategic selling principles to directly sell automated material handling systems.
  • Identify, define, and work collectively with clients' decision-making networks.
  • Review customer RFPs, surveys, and economic justifications.
  • Compile and analyze customer data to identify sales opportunities.
  • Evaluate customer needs, identify, and facilitate the best solution.
  • Negotiate initial scope of work with customers.
  • Collaborate with System Engineering to develop and deliver winning sales proposals.
  • Assist and coordinate with Aftermarket Services and Finance department to maintain good customer relations and image, minimize receivables, minimize warranty and product liability costs, and identify needed areas of product improvement.
  • Provide customized solutions with a consultative, engineering needs-based approach.
  • Work closely with sales management team to meet objectives.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts as well as drive new business to increase market share.
  • Maximize reach in trade-shows and open houses.
  • Communicate clearly, effectively, and efficiently at all levels inside and outside the organization.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of proven success in Automation Industry Sales experience with turnkey solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing large accounts in a multi-state territory through distributor and dealer relationships is mandatory.
  • Relationships with major distribution and warehouse facilities, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Driven hunter mentality.
  • Proficiency with CRM.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% as needed.
