Role Overview:
The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering an outstanding customer experience. This position involves engaging with customers, providing education on our products, and ensuring a seamless purchasing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers with a friendly demeanor and adhere to our service standards.
- Effectively communicate product knowledge to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
- Guide customers through our product offerings, explaining different strains and their uses.
- Comply with all relevant laws and regulations in the cannabis industry.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space.
- Promote the company’s values and culture through integrity and honesty.
- Anticipate customer needs and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.
- Support team morale and performance through effective communication.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in the cannabis sector is advantageous.
Communication Skills:
Proficient in English, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Self-motivated with a commitment to personal growth.
- Strong conflict resolution abilities.
- Understanding of retail cannabis operations and relevant regulations.
- Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, communicate effectively, and perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and operating standard office equipment.
