Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to drive growth in the North America region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic selling and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of success in solution and systems sales of capital equipment or industrial automation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer needs, identifying bottlenecks in current processing systems, and accurately scoping potential system solutions.
  • Coordinate field activities during the sales process and maintain positive customer rapport, reflecting KOCH's core values.
  • Collaborate with estimating, purchasing, project managers, and engineering teams to capture opportunities and identify solutions.
  • Develop and execute effective sales penetration plans for assigned accounts and market sectors.
  • Travel to customer sites to promote company capabilities, determine project feasibility, and participate in contract negotiations.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering degree preferred) and/or business management, sales, marketing, or related field.

Experience: 5+ years of successful experience in strategic selling and negotiation skills in solution and systems sales of capital equipment or industrial automation.


Skills:
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of liquid, powder, ecoat paint processing preferred.
Demonstrated account management skills.
Proven customer service practices leading to building long-term relationships.
Highly motivated and self-directed with excellent organizational and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
