Job Title: Vice President of Operations Construction

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for construction operations? Do you have a proven track record of optimizing operations and overseeing project details from roadways to water lines? We're seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Operations Construction to join our team at MilSpec Talent.

About the Role:
  • Direct management and supervision of resources and assignments, ensuring comprehensive support for both public and private sector markets
  • Negotiate contracts and manage construction bids, obtain required permits/licenses as needed
  • Create effective schedules and oversee project budget
  • Hire and train top talent to optimize workload
  • Procure equipment and materials necessary for projects
  • Use appropriate computer software as a tool for solving engineering problems
  • Apply data-driven decision-making to create scalable systems and well-defined processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance checks

We're actively recruiting a Vice President in Construction Operations to play a pivotal role in optimizing operations and overseeing project details from roadways to water lines.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred OR equivalent experience
  • Industry experience min. 5 years in management role, leading teams in land development and transportation projects in Construction, Utility, Infrastructure projects
  • Robust experience in financial analysis, budget reporting, forecasting
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and eager to join the team of many hats, poised to expand market
  • In-depth understanding of industry regulations, safety standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, and technological application for marketing, analytics, operations
