Takeda, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomarker Technology and Science Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Bioanalytical and Biomarker Sciences and Technologies (BST) department, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of biomarkers for clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement biomarker strategies for clinical trials, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead a team of subject matter experts and logistics specialists to execute BST deliverables in accordance with study timelines.
  • Provide strategic, technical, and regulatory expertise in biomarker development and implementation, with a deep understanding of biomarker technologies and applications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to progress clinical assets and deliver key assays and data to clinical trials.
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for biomarker development and implementation, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of biomarker and bioanalytical data for ongoing clinical trials.

Requirements:

  • PhD degree in a scientific discipline with 7+ years of experience, or MS with 13+ years of experience, or BS with 15+ years of experience.
  • Deep understanding of biomarker development and implementation, with expertise in at least one technology area.
  • Outstanding expertise in one or more biomarker technologies, such as immunoassays, genomics, flow cytometry, and others.
  • Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
