Position Overview:

The Human Resource Representative will collaborate closely with the Senior Human Business Partner to manage a variety of specialized administrative responsibilities. This includes evaluating job applications, maintaining employee records, and generating essential reports. The role encompasses several key areas: HR operations support, recruitment, employee engagement, onboarding, employee relations, training, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop job postings, conduct screenings, facilitate interviews, and perform reference checks to hire qualified candidates for various positions. Work in partnership with managers to identify necessary skills and qualifications for each role.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HR system, ensuring the integrity of information such as contact details, job classifications, and compensation.
  • Oversee job openings and applications, managing both internal and external postings effectively.
  • Handle applications for entry-level and non-exempt roles, conducting preliminary interviews as needed.
  • Utilize the HR system to assign disposition codes to all applicants.
  • Ensure compliance with Affirmative Action in all hiring and promotion activities.
  • Assist in organizing company-wide meetings related to benefits, wellness programs, and other significant updates.
  • Support the HR Business Partner with performance management initiatives.
  • Analyze exit interview data and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects such as performance reviews, salary planning, and talent management.
  • Execute routine HR tasks, including disciplinary actions, hiring processes, and employee development programs.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and best practices, regularly reviewing policies for compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HR operations team and strategic goals.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Effective interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks as necessary.
  • Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a 2-year degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee engagement, or a related HR field.
  • Willingness to work on-site as required.
  • Ability to perform desk work and operate a computer for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Availability for occasional overnight travel.
Preferred Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in a human resources role is preferred.
