Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Employment Attorney with 8-10 years of experience to join a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of labor and employment law and be adept at handling complex legal matters. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients and participate in high-stakes legal challenges. The position is primarily in-office, allowing for close collaboration with colleagues and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of labor and employment issues.
- Represent clients in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases.
- Advise clients on employment contracts, workplace policies, and compliance with labor laws.
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and strategic legal guidance.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 8-10 years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Strong litigation experience with the ability to manage cases from inception to resolution.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois (additional Midwest state licenses are a plus).
- Competitive salary in the range of $160,000 – $180,000, depending on experience.
