Job Title: General Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Counsel to join our team at Interpark Holdings LLC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide strategic legal guidance and support to our business operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal leadership and support for parking asset, entity level, and financing transactions.
  • Manage external counsel on real estate matters related to asset acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, financings, and other special transactions or projects.
  • Coordinate government relations in support of real estate development projects and parking industry interests.
  • Draft and negotiate various parking management and real estate agreements.
  • Provide legal and strategic advice to our commercial, operational, and administrative teams.
  • Governance and corporate entity management.
  • Act as Chief Compliance Officer and involve in risk management activities.
  • Lead on our sustainability team and participate in community outreach and diversity initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external legal resources.
  • Responsible for CIFIUS compliance administration.
  • Oversight of all Interpark business contracts.
  • Prepare and present on general legal and real estate topics to our Board and internal stakeholders.
  • Representation on industry associations.
Qualifications:
  • JD required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of real estate legal work experience.
  • Prior success closing commercial real estate asset transactions.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and oral and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality of work product.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
  • Compliance and governance focus.
  • Strong communicator, self-confident, and ability to articulate legal matters in a concise and coherent fashion.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and establish productive external relationships.
  • Experience in a work environment with best-in-class processes and procedures.
  • A highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, eager to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering outstanding results.
  • Good interpersonal instincts, with the ability to constructively reconcile differences in a positive manner.
  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character with demonstrated high moral and ethical behavior.
Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the US.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, motor vehicle driving history check, and background check.
  • Must be willing to work out of our Chicago Corporate office/facility/garage/lot.
  • Must be able to maintain flexibility in schedule to meet business needs.
