Job Summary:

The Gjelina Group is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting food and other goods from our facility to personal or business addresses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and preparing orders for delivery
  • Quality control to ensure orders are accurate and complete
  • Loading goods safely and efficiently
  • Using navigation tools to deliver parcels to the correct address
  • Collecting, transporting, and safely delivering a range of items to designated locations
  • Ensuring all orders are delivered on time, in the right condition, and to the right place

Requirements:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years driving experience
  • Problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and organization
  • Previous restaurant/retail/hospitality experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record and ability to drive a sprinter or small box truck
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work early mornings
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include standing, sitting, and walking for long periods. The ability to regularly lift, carry, and/or move up to 40 pounds, frequently lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds is required.

Work Environment:

The work environment may be moderate to loud with surrounding areas that may be wet, hot/cold, slippery, or humid.
