Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving assigned sales goals for the hotel. This involves effectively soliciting and securing new accounts, as well as growing existing relationships with assigned clients.

The Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and implement sales strategies that meet the hotel's revenue and market share goals. This may involve conducting sales tours, entertaining clients, and monitoring market trends.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of the hotel industry and market dynamics.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals
  • Proactively conduct solicitation calls and sales tours
  • Grow existing relationships with assigned clients
  • Monitor and evaluate market trends
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, and courteous manner
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous hotel sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of the hotel industry and market dynamics
