Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the asphalt operations at multiple facilities, focusing on safety, quality, reliability, profitability, process improvement, and performance development and management of the department.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Asphalt Operations: Develop and maintain comprehensive procedures, policies, and systems to improve safety, training, quality, cost, and efficiency.
  • Lead and Develop Team: Provide appropriate leadership, resources, and processes to ensure robust plant operations, promote a culture of safe and clean work environment, and ensure corrective actions are taken to investigate and resolve safety/quality/reliability/process-related issues.
  • Equipment Integrity: Develop and manage equipment integrity programs to assure efficient and reliable operation of all primary and auxiliary equipment.
  • Performance Development: Guide and lead the team in operational excellence, quality, cost control, diversity, engagement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Reliable Operations: Assure efficient and optimized processing of asphalt on-time that meets all specifications and business needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years in a Senior Management Role within Asphalt Operations/Plant Management.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to wear many hats, lead team players, and customers.
  • Company Longevity: Decent company longevity/commitment.
