Position Overview:
Sabre Systems is seeking a skilled Cost Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting various cost-related acquisition activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize expertise in cost estimating principles to assist in the preparation of Estimates At Completion (EAC), Unit Production Cost estimates, and Operating and Support (O&S) cost/Life Cycle Cost (LCC) projections.
- Enhance and adapt existing methodologies and toolsets, potentially incorporating advanced techniques or developing new estimating tools.
- Leverage technical skills to evaluate the cost and schedule implications of current and anticipated technological advancements, as well as assess the financial impacts of innovative acquisition strategies.
- Support the analysis of detailed cost proposals and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, complemented by a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with at least 24 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses.
- Proven experience in conducting cost analysis for military aircraft or airborne weapon systems.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in spreadsheet applications are essential.
- Possession of a current DoD secret clearance is required.
- Candidates must successfully pass a background check.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
