About the Job


Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Logistics Manager to support the USMC Light/Attack Helicopter Program Office in Patuxent River, MD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing logistics support for the Government's H-1 In-Service aircraft, H-1 Maintenance Training Assets, and various test assets.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical evaluations to identify logistics requirements and resources for weapons systems.
  • Develop logistics support and maintainability programs or plans to ensure the effective operation of H-1 aircraft and systems.
  • Analyze systems acquisition requirements to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Manage budgetary and financial aspects of program operations, including life cycle cost analysis and control.
  • Ensure hardware and software standardization and compatibility for weapons systems.
  • Plan and execute Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program tests and evaluations.
  • Manage ILS/R&M program analysis to inform program decisions.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data to inform program operations.
  • Develop and validate documentation for automated logistics and maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems.
  • Interface with program stakeholders, including vendors and Fleet Support Team representatives.
  • May require up to 20% annual domestic and international travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, or Management.
  • At least six years of experience in acquisition logistics support or maintenance engineering.
  • Four years of experience in technical analysis of logistics acquisition requirements analysis and ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations.
