Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Assistant to join our team. As a Glass Installation Assistant, you will assist experienced glaziers in maximizing efficiency and providing exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn the glazing trade and gain the skills needed to become a fully trained Lead Glazier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist glaziers in installing plate glass and repairing commercial man-doors.
  • Help with driving and navigating to job sites, ensuring timely arrivals.
  • Set up and maintain job sites by securing areas, containing glass, and sweeping to company standards.
  • Retrieve tools and parts for glaziers, assist with carrying and installing glass, and help with heavy lifting.
  • Survey job sites for safety hazards and respond accordingly.
  • Load tools and clear areas before departure.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
