Commercial Lines Producer

As a Commercial Lines Producer at IMA Financial Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting and demonstrating our core values. You will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new accounts that meet our IMA Select criteria, identifying target audiences, and building a pipeline of prospects and centers of influence. You will also gather and organize information required for marketing submissions to insurance carriers, enter key information into our Agency CRM, and lead and conduct proposals for successful small, mid-size, and emerging businesses. Additionally, you will develop referral source partners through networking, business professional service providers, community involvement, and become a visible leader in your industry. You will be responsible for the overall growth of your book of business through new and existing client relationships, develop an effective network within the industry and business community, and develop an annual business plan to meet established premium and revenue goals. You will also develop yourself as a trusted advisor to educate and advise clients and prospects, identify and coordinate cross-selling opportunities within IMA, and conduct yourself in a professional manner that represents IMA and IMA Select in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values
• Prospects and qualifies new accounts that meet IMA Select criteria
• Identifies target audiences and builds a pipeline of prospects and centers of influence

• Enters key information into and updates the Agency CRM throughout the sales process
• Leads and conducts proposals for successful small, mid-size, and emerging businesses

• Becomes a visible leader in an industry and actively participates in industry associations, organizations, boards, and charities as appropriate
• Responsible for the overall growth of your book of business through new and existing client relationships
• Develops an effective network within the industry and business community
• Develops an annual business plan to meet established premium and revenue goals as established with your market leader
• Develops yourself as a trusted advisor to educate and advise clients and prospects
• Identifies and coordinates cross-selling opportunities within IMA
• Conducts yourself in a professional manner that represents IMA and IMA Select in the community
Requirements:
• 2-5 years of insurance or sales-related experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills for sales presentations and client relationship building
• Self-driven and with a strong motivation to succeed
• Willingness and aptitude to learn the business and become knowledgeable in business insurance and your target industries
• Confident self-starter who works well independently
