The GeorgiaGov is seeking a highly skilled ITS Supervisor to join our team in the Office of Traffic Operations. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in traffic engineering, ITS design, and project management. As an ITS Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and consultants, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers and consultants to ensure successful completion of projects;
  • Oversee daily operations of the ITS Comprehensive Maintenance Contract;
  • Monitor data inputs from NaviGAtor and other traffic operations software packages to identify potential issues;
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders;
  • Serve as an active member of the Configuration Control Board, overseeing changes and modifications to the Georgia NaviGAtor System.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field;
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in traffic engineering and ITS design;
  • Advanced knowledge of traffic analysis software and traffic signal operational software;
  • Demonstrated experience in contract and consultant management;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to make sound decisions and take calculated risks;
  • Capacity to motivate and promote teamwork;
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities;
  • Strong customer orientation;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
