99 Ranch Market Food Meat Processing Center is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and program critical control points (CCP) throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure product food safety and quality by conducting regular inspections and testing.
  • Perform sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and designated areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of all relevant logs, documentation, and test results.
  • Verify that products adhere to established recipe guidelines during processing.
  • Promote a safe work environment by ensuring employees follow food safety and worker safety practices.
  • Educate employees on food safety standards and USDA regulations.
  • Issue disciplinary action when directed by management.
  • Collect product samples for Product Development, lab retains, and laboratory analysis as required.
  • Conduct inspections of products, equipment, and machinery to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience working in food production facilities and familiarity with USDA regulatory/labeling requirements are essential.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills are crucial.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food regulations, particularly nutritional labeling and natural food ingredients under both USDA and FDA guidelines.
  • Understanding of the physical properties and chemical composition of food and ingredients.
  • Familiarity with various areas of food science and technology, including experimental procedures.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to food safety.
  • Self-motivated with proven leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, or Spanish is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work early morning and weekend shifts as needed.
  • HACCP, PCQI, and GMP certifications are advantageous.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
