Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical information and support to improve productivity of machine tool users.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure all needs are met from pre-sales to project completion.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and our product lines.
  • Support a broad range of tooling and machine accessory projects within a Capital equipment sales territory.
  • Develop solutions for process optimization and manage related projects from concept to completion.
  • Participate in continuous education meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with new products, processes, and technologies.
  • Cultivate a sales territory to generate revenue when not supporting Capital machine projects.
  • Be responsive to customers and Capital sales staff in resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree (or related field) preferred with 3+ years of applicable experience.
  • Intermediate to sophisticated knowledge of CNC machine technology and applications with experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to excel in a team environment as well as when working independently.
  • Deep-seated desire to win in a competitive marketplace.
