Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Agile frameworks, methodologies, tools, and Scrum practices across implementation projects and digital transformation initiatives, serving as a coach to both client and internal teams.
  • Oversee engagements that encompass business analysis, project management, and program portfolio management to successful completion.
  • Conduct Agile maturity assessments and devise implementation strategies and transformation roadmaps using scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Identify delivery obstacles, issues, and risks, recommending suitable solutions or escalating to the appropriate levels and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Facilitate program/project status updates, daily scrum meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives.
  • Support scrum teams and product owners in capacity planning, scrum board management, sprint backlog determination, and monitoring velocity and burn down/up charts.
  • Collaborate with business areas and product owners to perform requirements analysis, solution design, and functional testing.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to support the design and development of scalable enterprise application architecture.
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication across large programs and global teams.
  • Own deliverables, project scope items, client presentations, and workstreams; proactively engage leadership when appropriate and drive the implementation of feedback.
  • Independently manage the full project lifecycle from planning through high-quality execution.
  • Present engagement findings, data insights, and recommendations to senior client executives and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with leadership and experts to gain insights and knowledge necessary to solve problems and enhance your expertise.
  • Mentor, train, and oversee junior resources, conducting quality reviews of their work products.
  • Leverage tools, methodologies, and knowledge to enhance efficiency and improve project delivery outcomes.
  • Learn from former industry practitioners to build your subject matter expertise and professional network.
  • Take a leadership role in internal initiatives; plan events for our Employee Resource Groups, propose and drive internal initiatives, or create proposals and thought leadership.
  • Engage with one or more Practice Area communities.
  • Build institutional knowledge through project documentation and knowledge-sharing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience managing project teams, with strong delivery capabilities and familiarity with various project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum of Scrums).
  • Strong understanding of business processes and requirements analysis.
  • Experience effectively managing both onshore and offshore resources.
  • Analytical skills, strong data modeling capabilities in Excel or other tools, and exposure to various tools and technologies.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies such as Sprint and Scrum.
  • Experience in large, complex programs within Technology organizations and direct interaction with client leadership.
  • At least 3 years of prior consulting experience with a top-tier consulting firm or within the Financial Services sector.
  • Emerging expertise within Financial Services, particularly in one or more of Reference Point's industry focus areas.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align multiple client stakeholders on findings and recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal presentation, written communication, and visual display skills; ability to create compelling presentations and deliverables.
  • Experience working independently with strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated humility and the ability to drive work necessary for the success of client programs and complex projects.
  • Exceptional drive and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in systems and information engineering, industrial engineering, operations research, mathematics, computer science, or another technical and analytical discipline is preferred.
