Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at Oxford Global Resources. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated processes and machinery, as well as creating detailed documentation or manuals for fully functional projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze user stories to identify automation opportunities
  • Provide work estimates for testing user stories and develop robust automated test scripts based on input from QA Functional testers
  • Resolve script failures during development and execution, and identify and raise risks as early as possible in the system development life cycle
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms, including test artifacts
  • Identify and log defects, work with development to resolve, and verify fixes when implemented
  • Maintenance of scripts to keep up with changing business needs
Requirements
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years in QA automation testing
  • Efficiency and knowledge of how automation is performed within a project
  • Proven experience working with Selenium
  • Hands-on experience testing applications developed on multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
  • Ability to perform to a reasonable standard of output as a member of a highly productive and collaborative team
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Agility to shift priorities and multi-task based on business needs
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of database concepts with the ability to create simple queries
