POSITION OVERVIEW


The Senior Vice President of Operations will oversee and direct operational activities within the organization, ensuring the development and execution of effective operational strategies and cost-efficient systems to meet the current and future demands of the business on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Define, implement, and communicate the strategic vision for the operations division.

- Formulate and execute a comprehensive strategic plan.

- Utilize company performance metrics to enhance competitive positioning.

- Address unexpected challenges and provide solutions.

- Lead various departments and operational functions within the organization.

Core Activities


- Collaborate with General Managers and safety leaders to support and enhance corporate safety initiatives tailored to each facility.

- Assist the Group President in executing centrally driven processes initiated by Corporate Management.

- Guide General Managers in implementing site-specific Operational Excellence (OpEx) plans aligned with the Group's strategic objectives.

- Drive continuous quality improvements through established quality protocols and procedures.

- Develop and refine a unified Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in partnership with General Managers and functional leaders.


- Establish key performance indicators to foster site-specific productivity enhancements in accordance with the Corporate OpEx scorecard and strategic initiatives.


- In collaboration with Purchasing and supply chain leaders, create and implement best-in-class supply chain processes to reduce costs and enhance Working Capital Turns.

- Work with General Managers and functional leaders to formulate the annual operating and capital budget for each facility and product line.


- Ensure the sharing of best practices across manufacturing locations, monitor progress towards goals, and provide necessary tools, training, and resources.

- Promote a culture of empowerment among employees to foster ownership and engagement in operational activities.


- Collaborate with General Managers to balance manufacturing workloads across sites to optimize manpower and capital investments.

- Cultivate an Employer of Choice environment within each facility through effective human resource strategies and proactive succession planning.

- Support new product development by collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability.

- Prepare and deliver presentations to various stakeholders.

- Stay informed about advancements in quality, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.

- Travel to various facilities as required.

- Participate in meetings and initiatives aimed at enhancing the company's profitability and operational efficiency.

- Uphold and advocate for company policies, safety standards, and core values.

- Maintain a professional demeanor with customers, employees, and the public.

- Collaborate closely with all Page Mechanical Group Inc. facilities and relevant business and trade organizations.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- A minimum of 10 years of experience leading Quality, Lean, and Continuous Improvement initiatives in a manufacturing context.

- Global manufacturing experience is preferred.

- Experience in manufacturing optimization is advantageous.

- Strategic vision coupled with tactical execution capabilities.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

- Proven track record as a change agent.

- Expertise in Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.).

- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or business is required; a master's degree or MBA is preferred.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.


- Must be highly motivated, energetic, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

- Strong problem-solving skills at both strategic and operational levels are essential.

- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities are required.

- Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and business plans.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and passport.

- Regular attendance is expected.

Leadership Expectations

- Collaborate with Infrastructure Group General Managers to develop the annual operating and capital budget for each facility and product line.
