Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior EROC Operations Team Leader to join our team at Erlanger Health System. This role will be responsible for overseeing the quality of patient care, monitoring the performance of nursing staff, and directing orientation, clinical education, and development of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct the operations of the EROC team, ensuring optimal operational flow, teamwork, and utilization of resources to meet patient-care needs.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure quality and customer satisfaction within assigned areas of EHS.
  • Collaborate with EROC Leadership to design, develop, and implement programs, projects, and initiatives to improve patient care and services.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting growth and development, and fostering a culture of service excellence and cooperative collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission, DNV, and EMTALA.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice nursing in the state of Tennessee.
  • BLS certification completed prior to hire and maintained going forward.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months.
  • Three years of continuous nursing experience, with one year of critical-care experience.
  • Strong communication, leadership, team building, project-management, and organization skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize solutions to challenging situations and implement practical plans.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Telehealth experience.
  • EPIC experience.
  • Advanced understanding of patient-flow and capacity management concepts.
