Job Summary

Madison Area Technical College is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to teach part-time courses for the Industrial Safety program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational safety and health, with experience in developing and delivering learning programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver instructional sessions on workplace safety and health topics
  • Develop and implement curriculum for Industrial Safety courses
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other instructors and subject matter experts to develop course materials
  • Hold office hours to advise students
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, safety management, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the Occupational Safety and Health field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience developing and delivering learning programs
  • Current OSHA-authorized instructor for General Industry and/or Construction 10- and 30-hour courses
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in occupational safety and health or related field
  • Experience teaching adult learners
  • Knowledge of current educational methods and strategies
