YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the establishment and evaluation of various initiatives across Cracker Barrel (menu, pricing, and operational strategies). This includes selecting test and control locations based on defined criteria and measuring outcomes through periodic assessments and presentations of key performance indicators.
- Strategic Skills/ Business Performance Management/ Technical Expertise: Understand the business strategy and objectives, applying them to each initiative through financial, statistical, and analytical methodologies.
- Systems Knowledge and Decision Support: Utilize current system applications to analyze, manipulate, and model data effectively; leverage financial insights and business understanding to deliver structured processes and analyses; recommend value-adding strategies through the intelligent use of established tools and techniques.
- Leadership and Development Skills: Act as a resource for all departmental areas; complete ad hoc analyses and reports as needed; provide financial and operational support as requested by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related Statistical field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional oral, written, presentation, and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and database management.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Solid mathematical skills with a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Understanding of the restaurant and/or retail industry, operations, and trends.
- Project management experience and/or cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (Tableau, SQL, Alteryx).
