Position Summary:

The role of the Production Team Leader involves assisting in the training of new production staff, which includes guiding them through production processes, cleaning protocols, and addressing any inquiries regarding their responsibilities and work routines. This position also entails managing documentation, communication with supervisors, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee departmental operations to ensure production and cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.
2. Facilitate the training of all new employees, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
3. Collaborate closely with management and supervisors to maintain operational standards.
4. Ensure all production staff adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
5. Keep management informed of any progress or issues that arise during operations.
6. Enforce company regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times.
7. Follow all safety policies and procedures, addressing any GMP/Safety violations promptly.
8. Report any conditions that may impact food safety, quality, or personnel safety.
9. Take responsibility for the Food Safety and Quality of Michael Foods products.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
- No prior experience or training is required.
- Previous leadership experience is preferred.

Language Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
- Capable of writing basic correspondence and effectively presenting information in small group settings.

Mathematical Skills:
- Proficient in basic arithmetic operations and able to apply these skills in practical scenarios.

Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and interpret various forms of communication.

Other Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Familiarity with a basic set of tools is beneficial.
