Job Title: Assistant/Associate Director, Stewardship

About the Role:

The Assistant/Associate Director of Stewardship and Donor Engagement will play a critical role in fostering a culture of gratitude and recognition among Boston College's donors and stakeholders. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing stewardship strategies to ensure that donors feel valued and appreciated for their contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute stewardship plans to recognize and thank donors for their gifts
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that stewardship efforts are aligned with fundraising goals
  • Manage the creation and distribution of annual impact reports and other stewardship materials
  • Coordinate donor engagement events and activities to foster relationships and build loyalty
  • Work closely with the senior associate director of reporting to ensure accurate and timely data management
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; 5-7 years of professional experience for Associate Director Level, 3-5 years for Assistant Director Level 2, and 1-3 years for Assistant Director Level 1
  • Proven experience in stewardship, development, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
