Position Overview:
This role requires a minimum of four years of experience in a high-end dining establishment and/or prior leadership experience along with a formal culinary education. Proficiency in English and/or Spanish communication is advantageous.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, exceptional culinary skills, and effective communication abilities. Leadership qualities are essential, as well as a commitment to maintaining food safety standards. This is a full-time, salaried position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and presenting meals that meet specified standards in a timely manner.
  • Accurately measuring ingredients and portion sizes.
  • Ensuring compliance with established standards, procedures, and sanitation protocols among kitchen staff.
  • Overseeing kitchen inventory management, ensuring the freshness and quality of supplies.
  • Maintaining appropriate cooking temperatures and proper food storage practices.
  • Assuming leadership in kitchen operations during opening, closing, and other assigned duties as directed by the Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a high-volume or upscale dining environment.
  • Proficient knife skills.
  • Ability to interpret and execute recipes and standards accurately.
  • Capacity to produce a significant volume of work efficiently.
  • Commitment to practicing food safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
