We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Stroke Unit team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a compassionate healing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to a group of patients during a designated time frame, utilizing evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models.
- Coordinate and provide care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology, in partnership and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for planning, delegating, and coordinating the nursing care of a group of patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and foster professional growth and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- 2000 hours direct bedside care in a cardiovascular telemetry or cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse in the last 3 years
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association
- Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test
- NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale
- Demonstrates competency in the care and management of acute stroke patients
- Demonstrates competency in the management of selected vasoactive and antiarrhythmic agents
- Demonstrates competency in the management and discharge of Observation patients
This is a full-time position working 12 hour night shifts.
Compensation:$99.73 per hour
