Job SummaryThis 0.75 FTE, variable-shift position will provide a comprehensive endoscopy training program, including hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced endoscopy nurses. The successful candidate will work in our state-of-the-art Endoscopy Lab at Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
- Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards
- Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
- Participate in the development of and maintain established hospital policies, procedures, and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention program
- Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Specialty certification preferred
- 2 years Endoscopy nursing experience required
- WA State RN Licensure with Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months
