About the Role

SJS Executives, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a skilled Drafter to support construction operations within a local healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Combine existing site and building As-Builts with new project As-Builts to maintain a complete record drawing set.
  • Prepare civil-structural plan and detail drawings for above grade support structures and below grade foundation details.
  • Work with in-house Drafter to validate and correct existing As-Builts.
  • Perform drawing and field verifications.
  • Implement structural design information from Engineers.
  • Ensure projects adhere to the established schedule.
  • Read, understand, and apply standard to complex documents affecting construction projects, including agreements/contracts, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a college drafting curriculum with a two-year degree minimum.
  • At least five years of experience performing drafting for design and construction projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk systems, including AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Full knowledge of engineering and architectural concepts, principles, and practices for the design, layout, and construction of medical facilities, associated buildings, parking, roadways, and site utilities.
  • Experience with ADA compliant construction, remodeling, and renovations.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation.
