Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient mobility, monitor vital signs as necessary, and accurately document findings in the electronic health record.
  • Identify and communicate any significant changes in patients' physical, emotional, or mental health to nursing and therapy teams.
  • Ensure alignment of mobility care with nursing and therapy practices, maintaining thorough documentation within the clinical system to support healthcare assessments.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of mobility tools and the unit, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment within the scope of the role, demonstrating the ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
  • Education: No formal education required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers is mandatory.
