About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Mobile Assessment Team (MAT) as a Mental Health Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement mental health care programs to support patients and families
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide comprehensive care and education
  • Conduct skilled nursing assessments and provide expert consultation to physicians and staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and providers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in direct clinical nursing patient care, with 18 months in psychiatry
  • Current RN licensure in Texas or Compact State
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification
  • ANCC Recognized Certification in Magnet
