Job Summary:

The Restaurant Operations Manager is a key member of the Raising Cane's team, responsible for supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This role requires a strong leader who can convey the company culture to Crewmembers and Customers, while also driving sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
    • Lead the team to achieve sales growth and profitability targets
    • Manage restaurant operations, including inventory, labor, and customer service
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant efficiency and productivity
  • Business Management:
    • Support the General Manager in managing food and labor costs
    • Develop and implement plans to increase restaurant profitability
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
  • People Management:
    • Recruit, train, and develop Crewmembers to improve restaurant performance
    • Manage Crewmember schedules and labor costs
    • Develop and implement plans to improve Crewmember engagement and retention
  • Project Support:
    • Support the General Manager in executing local marketing plans
    • Collaborate with the Operations Advisor and Restaurant Support Office to implement company-driven programs and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required, some College preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and empower Crewmembers
  • Ability to manage basic tasks, restaurant operations, and fiscal management
  • Ability to recognize problems and problem solve
  • Ability to set goals and convert plans into action
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws
  • Knowledge and skills in staffing, scheduling, people and cost management
