Government Contracts Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Government Contracts Specialist to join our team at Scientific Systems Company, Inc. in Burlington, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic, high-growth company that focuses on research and development, as well as transition for Military customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing corporate contracting policy, overseeing the administration of customer, subcontractor, and strategic partner contracts, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements. Key responsibilities include reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), negotiating contracts, and maintaining SSCI's contract database.
We require the ability to identify issues and effectively develop solutions, extensive contract negotiation skills, and experience working with matrix organizations.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes a bonus plan, 401K, and health, life, and disability insurance.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in US government contracts and/or subcontract administration.
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARs, and other relevant regulations.
- Experience working with government contract administration processes, including subcontract flow downs, change management, close-out, and records retention.
