Job Title: Controller

Job Summary:

The Controller is a critical role at C&M Precision Tech, responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of the company. This includes managing financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in GAAP compliance and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month/year-end close, providing financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Present analysis of trends and variances to senior management
  • Develop, manage, and report on budgets, providing input on operational and strategic decisions
  • Forecast the company's financial performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities
  • Manage cash flow, implementing and overseeing spend management strategies
  • Optimize internal controls through proper business processes and accounting policies
  • Analysis of ERP input/output to improve SOPs and controls
  • System inventory valuation, including the management of cycle count and physical inventory activities
  • Plan, assign, and review the work of Accounting Staff (AR/AP, payroll, credit/collections)
  • Work with 3rd party in the administration of Company 401k plan
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
  • Work with external agencies, as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a BS in Accounting or Finance or relevant required
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Microsoft Office (Emphasis on Excel)
  • ERP (JobBoss preferred)
