Job Summary:

Health Care Resource Center is seeking a Patient Care Monitor/Greeter to ensure the overall safety and order of the clinic facility. This role requires a respectful, alert, and vigilant individual to maintain a secure environment and provide backup coverage to the receptionist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the protection of all employees and patients
  • Verify patient identification and maintain a safe waiting area
  • Perform crowd control and ensure timely departures
  • Eliminate loitering and congregating in the parking lot and premises
  • Report critical incidents and cooperate with authorities as needed
  • Respond to calls for assistance and maintain order and control
  • Document incidents and maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Perform security checks and maintain professional attire
  • Provide receptionist coverage as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement of 21
  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in an office/clinic setting
  • Training from a law enforcement school or other security training is strongly preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to establish a positive rapport with patients and demonstrate a non-judgmental attitude
  • Satisfactory drug screen and background check
