Patient Care Monitor

Job Summary:
Health Care Resource Center is seeking a Patient Care Monitor/Greeter to ensure the overall safety and order of the clinic facility. This role requires a respectful, alert, and vigilant individual to maintain a secure environment and provide backup coverage to the receptionist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the protection of all employees and patients
- Verify patient identification and maintain a safe waiting area
- Perform crowd control and ensure timely departures
- Eliminate loitering and congregating in the parking lot and premises
- Report critical incidents and cooperate with authorities as needed
- Respond to calls for assistance and maintain order and control
- Document incidents and maintain a safe and secure environment
- Perform security checks and maintain professional attire
- Provide receptionist coverage as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement of 21
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in an office/clinic setting
- Training from a law enforcement school or other security training is strongly preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to establish a positive rapport with patients and demonstrate a non-judgmental attitude
- Satisfactory drug screen and background check
