Job Summary:

ECUH BEA Campus of ECUH MC is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce images of the body's internal organs and tissues
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Assist physicians with procedures and provide patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • ARDMS or ARRT (US) registration required (physics and one specialty exam AB, OB/GYN) or registry eligible with registration obtained within 12 months of date of hire
  • 0 years of experience as US technologist (sonographer) required

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position working night shifts, Wednesday to Friday nights, 12 hours. Rotate weekend call coverage with other full-time sonographers. On call and weekend work required.
