  • Food Production
    • Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and production schedules.
    • Monitor and record food production, waste, and inventory levels.
    • Implement and record menu changes as directed.
  • Food Safety
    • Utilize safe food preparation methods to ensure the quality and safety of food.
    • Monitor temperature records and checklists for holding and storing equipment.
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment at all times.
  • Catering and Hospitality
    • Prepare and serve meals for private events, including seasonal and holiday events.
    • Assist with meal service to residents as needed.
    • Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and Culinary Services Manager to execute catering events.
  • Inventory and Storage
    • Receive and inspect food deliveries.
    • Monitor and track food and supply inventory levels.
    • Communicate inventory levels and usage with supervisor.
  • Customer Dining
    • Convey feedback and make recommendations regarding food quality and resident satisfaction.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform daily tasks in accordance with established facility and departmental policies and procedures.
    • Assist with special event preparation, setup, and cleanup.
    • Attend in-service training and other work-related meetings as required.
