Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit grant proposals, including budgetary and grant application information, to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Enter and manage grant data in the Research Channel, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional policies.
  • Obtain institutional endorsement on grant applications and prepare files for electronic submission.
  • Manage the disbursement and financial reporting of intramural and extramural funds, including budget breakdowns and distribution of funds.
  • Initiate and monitor subcontract agreements, budget transfers, and expense transfers in accordance with institutional policies and OMB Circular guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit additional reports for non-competitive and competitive renewal applications, as well as grant-related expenses.
  • Monitor and approve grant expenditures, provide monthly projection reports to Principal Investigators, and summary reports to Department Chairs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and two to four years of experience with federal and non-federal grant management.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, perform basic filing and office procedures, and maintain accuracy and consistency.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and Internet, email, and other office automation systems.
