Ebensburg Senior Landing Gear Engineer

Spectrum Industries is currently partnering with a leading aerospace OEM to find a highly skilled Senior Landing Gear Engineer. This role will focus on the development and modification of landing gears, wheels, and braking systems.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive annual salary of up to 95,000 EUR. The successful candidate will work onsite with the OEM client through our trusted engineering consultancy. Sponsorship can be provided for candidates relocating from countries outside of the EU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical responsibility for landing gear, wheels, and brakes
  • Sizing, development, and modification of complete systems and equipment
  • Definition and verification of requirements in accordance with ARP475
  • Preparation of compliance documentation (MOC 09) for Part 2
  • Preparation and assessment of safety analysis at the system and equipment level
  • Preparation of specifications and other type design documents
  • Point of contact for external suppliers for all technical matters
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or equivalent experience in the industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry
  • Proven experience in landing gear system development (landing gears, wheels, brakes, hydraulics, steering)
  • Experience in new product development for large aircraft programs
  • Familiarity with EASA Part 21J and CS/FAR 2
  • Excellent English language skills (B2 level or above)
